The journey
This is the journey we would recommend to a first-time guest without hesitation — the classical axis of Persia, paced generously enough to feel each city rather than collect it. Because we operate Iran directly, the route flexes freely: add the desert, slow down in Isfahan, or swap hotels to match your taste. Every departure is private and built to request.
Private transfer to a boutique hotel in the leafy north of the city. Evening orientation walk and a first Persian dinner — tahdig, saffron, pomegranate.
⌂ Boutique hotel, Tehran Meals: D
The Golestan Palace, the National Jewels and the bazaar's tea houses — then the National Museum to set 2,500 years of context before heading south.
⌂ Boutique hotel, Tehran Meals: B
Drive south to Kashan — the Tabatabaei and Borujerdi merchant houses, Fin Garden, and rosewater distilleries in season.
⌂ Restored courtyard house, Kashan Meals: B, D
Morning in the red-mud village of Abyaneh beneath the Karkas mountains, arriving in Isfahan by golden hour for a first look at the bridges.
⌂ Heritage hotel, Isfahan Meals: B
A full day on Naqsh-e Jahan Square — the Shah and Sheikh Lotfollah mosques, Ali Qapu palace, and craft workshops deep in the Grand Bazaar.
⌂ Heritage hotel, Isfahan Meals: B
Armenian New Julfa and the Vank Cathedral, music in the bazaar's domes, and a free afternoon for the miniature painters — or simply for tea by the Si-o-se-pol bridge.
⌂ Heritage hotel, Isfahan Meals: B
Cross the desert rim to Yazd — wind-catchers, the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and sunset from a mudbrick rooftop.
⌂ Adobe boutique hotel, Yazd Meals: B, D
The tomb of Cyrus the Great at Pasargadae, then Persepolis in the late-afternoon light when the reliefs turn amber.
⌂ Garden hotel, Shiraz Meals: B
The Pink Mosque at sunrise, the tombs of Hafez and Saadi, the Vakil bazaar — and a farewell feast in an old Qajar house.
⌂ Garden hotel, Shiraz Meals: B, D
Private transfer to Shiraz international airport — or extend into the desert, the Persian Gulf islands, or overland toward the Caucasus.
